Building and creating has always come naturally to me — I've been hands-on since I wasyoung, and that instinct eventually became a business. I own a fabrication company based in Cape Town that specialises in custom-designed adventure gear: roof racks, motorcycle luggage carriers, and adventure accessories, among plenty else built to spec.
That background has fed directly into the fabrication side of stunt design, whether it's working alongside construction and art departments to build stunt-friendly sets, or designing and creating bespoke truss adaptors for rigging. Working across CAD software and materials like welded steel and aluminium has shaped the way I approach stunt rig design from the ground up, giving me a level of technical control that goes well beyond the performance itself.
